We help students do things — and go places — together.

Our mission

Students constantly want to do things together and get places together — but coordinating that with people you do not yet know takes trust. Merge Campus exists to make campus coordination effortless and safe by combining two everyday needs into one community: activities (group hangouts and plans) and rides (carpools to and from campus and nearby). We scope everything to a verified university community and build trust directly into the product, so "find people doing the thing you want to do" finally feels easy.

We are deliberately not building another endless feed. Our measure of success is a plan that actually happens and a ride that actually gets shared — not minutes spent scrolling.

The product, briefly

Merge is organized around a live board of activities and rides. You sign in with your university email, discover what is happening on campus, and request to join. Activities have a minimum and maximum group size; when an activity reaches its minimum it goes Active and a members-only group chat unlocks. A built-in Trending view intelligently groups the specific things students are rallying around — a concert, a matcha run — into single tiles. Throughout, trust scores, ratings, reporting, and friend and privacy controls keep the community accountable.

Starting at UC Irvine

We are launching first at UC Irvine, where verified students sign in with their university email and coordinate rides and activities scoped to their campus. Starting with one community lets us get the trust, safety, and everyday usefulness right before expanding to more universities.

• Human, not viral. We optimize for real-world plans that happen, not time-on-app.

Who we serve

Merge Campus is built for university students who move around a shared campus and city every day — commuting to class, heading home for break, getting to games and concerts, and finding people to study, eat, or hang out with. We design for that rhythm specifically, rather than trying to be a general-purpose social or transportation app.
